If you want your tinted car to look perfect, what you do in the first few days after installation is very important. Although various brands, such as Vort-X, have the best quality and durability, the quality may decrease if the vehicle owner makes mistakes when handling the newly installed tinted film.
Vort-X would like to share four things you should do after tinting your vehicle so that you will have a better tinted film experience.
No need to wash the car immediately
The tinted film is installed on the inside of the vehicle, so you don’t have to worry if you drive in an area full of dirt and dust. However, washing the window after installing the tinted film, such as wiping with a cloth or pouring water directly onto the glass, can add moisture that can affect the drying process.
Let the tinted film dry
To get the best results and maximum protection when using tinted film, patience is very important because tinted film needs some time to dry and apply perfectly to your vehicle’s windshield. Let your vehicle get some sunlight to speed up the drying process.
Take your time with the air bubbles
The fear of air bubbles on tinted film is common to every vehicle owner who has just installed tinted film. There are several reasons for air bubbles to occur, such as the use of cheap, poor-quality tinted film, which will cause damage to the tinted film. However, with the technology and quality of tinted films on the market today, tinted films that have air bubbles are likely to be caused by moisture and will evaporate in a few days.
Take some time to notice those air bubbles. In a few days, the bubble effect will disappear. If there are no signs of air bubbles disappearing, contact the person who installed your tinted film.
Do not roll down the vehicle window
Professional and experienced installers recommend that car owners wait about three to four days after installing the tinted film. You may find that the tinted film dries in just 24 hours, but that does not mean that the tinted film will work well on all types of glass. Lowering the vehicle window can cause the tinted film to peel off and look imperfect.
